Run Houston! for a Cause
You may select one of our partner charities or race for any charity of your choosing. Whether your goal is doing your first race, beating last year’s time or setting your PR (personal record), participate in this race as a fundraiser and share your goal(s) with your community and friends. Watch how including others in your journey helps your dreams become reality!
There is no fundraising minimum to participate, and we encourage you to set a high goal, at least $1,000. You have nothing to lose and so much to gain!

Run Houston! For a Cause is happy to award the following bonus donations to the highest fundraising charities. To qualify for one of the bonus donations you must raise at least the amount of the bonus.
- 1st place charity wins $500
- 2nd place charity wins $400
- 3rd place charity wins $300
- 4th place charity wins $200
- 5th place charity wins $100
How it works, in 3 easy steps.
Step #1 – Complete the registration for your selected event.
Step #2 – From the “Fundraiser” tab (below) click the "Become a fundraiser" button.
Step #3 – Email, post, tweet, blog, and talk up your page to get as much support as possible and raise funds.
